Many instructors are not prepared to teach online. They may lack resources and or skills. How can we best support them and their students?
We understand that this is an unprecedented situation that none of us were prepared to face. We must get through this together to provide the best support for our students so that they can continue to reach their goals. All faculty will be required to complete LSC Online Training Certification if it has not already been completed. LSC-Online will be providing numerous additional training opportunities in the coming days. LSC-Kingwood has D2L Mentors assigned by division that are ready and willing to assist you. Need Help?

Many students hold part-time and/or service jobs and will go unpaid during this crisis. How do we support them and enable them to continue their educational goals?
Immediately, we are focused on providing support for our student’s education. Students who have lost their job may be eligible to apply for unemployment and work with other agencies in the community for additional support. Lone Star College CARE for Completion website will continue to be updated to provide links to services.
