Biography

Natasha Carrizosa

At age 42 Mrs. Natasha Carrizosa is a beautiful, bold, and strong female poet who has accomplished so many goals. Her website features a photo gallery, videos of a few wonderful poems, and much more.

“I write my first poem in the fifth grade. I remember running home with it in my hand. I couldn’t wait to tell my momma. What she me way back when/then, would plant a mighty seed in me. It has carried me to places all around the world. I have spoken/performed on stages that only existed in dreams. There is a forest of people that continually grow and inspire me. For all these blessings, I am grateful. I am my mother’s child. I am black and brown. I am poet and writer. I am a professional speaker. I am an advocate for the youth. I am a teacher. (Some say, healer). I am what I write and speak. The truth.” – Natasha (Natty) Carrizosa.
