About Your Assignment

Paper number three is typically a current issue or controversial issue paper. Depending on your instructor, you may have a list to choose from, or you may have the liberty to choose a current topic. This should be a topic that interests you.

Your instructor will give you written parameters of the assignment. Make sure that you read them thoroughly to understand what you need to accomplish. This will include:

  1. The length of the assignment,
  2. The minimum number of required sources that you will list (in alphabetical order) on your Works Cited page,
  3. The timeframe for the assignment, with a list of due dates, and
  4. Other directions or a list of acceptable topics.
