Friendly staff at the Service Desk will greet you and are ready to help as you enter into the Learning Commons. Walk around and see all the different types of seating, both for individuals and groups. Moveable white boards are available throughout the space for students to use. If classes are not being conducted in the computer labs, students can go in and use the computers in the labs. Lab 120 is specifically designated as the Quiet study room and no talking is allowed. Just remember, no food or drinks are allowed in the computer labs.
Below are three tutorials to help you become more familiar with the services offered in the Learning Commons. When you click on a tutorial a new window will open. Come back to this page to complete the other two tutorials. Once you have viewed all three tutorials, click on The Learning Commons Quiz and test your Knowledge. Some professors may use this quiz for a grade. The Certificate of Completion will show your quiz score and this can be emailed to your instructor.
