To “trim” webex recordings saved in the cloud
- Log in to your webex account (Lonestar.webex.com). Switch to “modern view” if you’re not already in it.
(Top right of page will have link to classic or modern view – it’ll have a link for whichever view you’re not currently in. If it says Classic, you’re in modern view already)
- Click on the “Recordings” link on the left side of the page.
- Click on the title of the recording you want to trim. This will open it in a player in a separate tab/window. That tab/window is where the settings options referred to in the super helpful webex instructions are located…
- Follow these helpful instructions (begin w/ step 3) now that you’ve found where the controls are actually located: https://help.webex.com/en-us/0zbv00/Trim-the-Beginning-and-End-of-Your-Webex-Meetings-or-Events-Recording
Note: Supposedly this doesn’t actual delete any of the recording; it just adjusts the point at which it starts and stops when streamed. I haven’t tested it to see if it retains the changes when downloaded.
