Workforce Dual Credit program allow high school students to enroll in Lone Star College (LSC) credit workforce programs and receive high school credit for career and technical classes while also working towards obtaining an Associate of Applied Science (AAS). While the LSC-Kingwood campus works directing with four of the districts (Cleveland ISD, Humble ISD, New Caney ISD, and Splendora ISD), the whole LSC System does partner with other school districts. Aldine ISD, Conroe ISD, CyFair ISD, Houston ISD, Huntsville ISD, Klein ISD, Magnolia ISD, Montgomery ISD, New Waverly ISD, Shepherd ISD, Spring ISD, Tarkington ISD, Tomball ISD, and Willis ISD.
Most of the school districts have at least one workforce degree currently and some are planning to add workforce degrees to their offering. For the most up-to-date offerings please contact your Dual Credit advisor from your school.
Currently New Waverly ISD and Tarkington ISD to not have workforce degree programs with us. Please talked to whichever ISD you attended to learn more about their Dual Credit programs.
