STAR Bundle FALL 2025

What is included in the STAR Bundle?

• All properly adopted required course materials are included:
• All e-books, hardcopy textbooks, loose-leaf textbooks, access codes, unique manuals, course packets, and homework codes for each course the students are enrolled.
• Workforce kits are also included if they are adopted as a required material for the course.
• "Recommended items" are not included but can be purchased.
• Please note this does not include consumables, such as lab goggles, calculators, dissection kits, etc.
• Students can view their bookshelf through D2L or visit the website at lonestar.textbookx.com and log in with their Lone Star College credentials. Their "Student Homepage" will list all registered courses and the materials they will receive.

• Adoptions will be digital first.
• If physical is required (i.e. lab manuals, workbooks) then the faculty simply notes that in the adoption portal.
• Digital first will allow students to have books available when D2L opens and have access to books on the first day.
• ADA accommodations will still be handled through normal process and the type of textbooks needed for disabilities will be provided in that manner.
