This semester, you have been working with a novel. So far, you’ve read it and taken an exam on it. This assignment asks you to do some research and get creative with it.
The task:
Imagine that you have to come up with a cover for this novel. Rather than a realistic scene, with people, animals, or landscape, you should pick something more abstract and symbolic to represent the novel on the cover. Specifically, this assignment asks you to pick a piece of modern art and explain why you would place it on the cover of your selected novel. Your chosen art cannot be realistic.
